Halo 3 Guide to staying alive in Matchmaking

To start this off, -Never- snipe and stand still at the same time, that means your going to die in about 15 seconds.

Next is Strafing which means to walk/run side to side, the more complex it is the harder it is for the enemy to hit you, so if you have no sheild Vs. a BR then Crouch Strafe and Jump like no tomorrow. If you can't use a Battle Rifles(BR) then learn how, it's the most favored wepon on matchmaking 4 shots to the head and your enemys dead.

If you have rockets and it's in doubles 24 - 24, jump above them and aim for their feet not their body. Now, on to grenade placment, If sombody is fallowing you, Aim at the floor and throw a Frag, it will bounce at them when they turn a corner so that means they're One Shot for a BR. If you have An assult rifle(AR) then your basicly using a vary weak Mauler because it basicly means your going to have to beat them down. The key is to stay back from their Melee range and jump around when you have to reload.

Next is the Look Sensitivity, if you arn't turning fast enough or you can't move your head to hit sombody fast enough ither, hit Start go to Game Controlls and you should see Look Sensitivity 3(Normal) turn it up how ever much you want so you can get a kill.

Try playing Lone Wolves if you are having a problem ranking up Highest Skill wise, i got my origanal 36 in Lone Wolves, and my now 38 in Doubles, soon to be 40 today will my friend, but anyway on lone wolves use a BR alot to steal kills, it's rude but they will do it more often then you if you do not belive me, at the end of a game hit back and then LB until you see Assists and your name.
